August 1, 2006 Board Meeting Agenda Item #18 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #7007 TO PROVIDE AND/OR INSTALL SIGNAGE Description Bids to 'Provide and/or Install Signage' were received from four vendors on July 11, 2006.  The bids of H & H Signs, Inc., and Municipal Supply & Sign Company were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications.  Rocal, Inc., did not meet the specification  for anodized signs and did not bid ADA signs.  This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bids of H & H Signs, Inc., and Municipal Supply & Sign Company, to 'Provide and/or Install Signage' in an amount not to exceed $75,000.00, be approved for award and purchase.
